Inuvi offers advertisers a way to deliver short text ads to mobile subscribers without the annoyance of SMS push. With our service, mobile operators append text ads to existing network- generated messages such as missed call notifications, voice mail alerts, billing top-up alerts, and so on. By appending the ads to existing messages, subscribers aren't interrupted and the ads are no more intrusive than advertising inserts included with bank statements. The result: text ads with no irritation.

To advertisers, the Inuvi service is Google AdWords for mobile. There's an important twist, however. Unlike AdWords, where the only kind of user response is a click-through, Inuvi lets advertisers use any kind of call to action.

The SMS call to action can be:

  • URL click-through
  • Reply with a keyword
  • Click-to-call number
  • No action at all

Targeting is available for all information provided by the publisher or mobile operator.

Advertisers can target by:

  • Country
  • Mobile operator / content publisher
  • Notification type (e.g., missed call alert)
  • Content service (e.g., news)
  • Subscriber location (where available)
  • Subscriber demographics (where available)
  • Subscriber behavior
  • Day part (day of week, time of day)
