Mobile Operators (Carriers)
Inuvi offers mobile operators a simple way to monetize their network-generated message traffic with hardly any effort or cost.
Network-generated messages (NGMs) such as missed call notifications, billing top-up alerts, voicemail notifications, and welcome messages are typically much shorter than the number of characters that SMS allows. Instead of wasting this space, Inuvi lets operators append short advertisements and sells this advertising inventory through the Inuvi mobile ad network. Advertisers bid on ad placements, and as impressions are delivered, Inuvi shares the ad revenue with the operator. It's as simple as that.
At the end of each month, Inuvi shares the revenue from these ads with mobile operators and ad sales channels. We encourage operators to sell their own inventory to increase their revenue share, but if an operator doesn't want to, it can still take advantage of ads sold by other parties.
Operators can append ads to:
- Voice mail notifications
- Missed call notifications
- Roaming welcome messages
- Roaming farewell messages
- Balance requests
- Billing alerts (e.g., top-ups)
- Pull (on demand) content
- Push content
- Any other SMS-based service
Subscriber permissions (opt-in) and profiles can be managed either by Inuvi or by the operator.
